The DESI Career Training Center currently provides employment and training services to out-of-school, low-income youth between the ages of sixteen and twenty-four in Mobile and Clarke Counties, Alabama. The training program is tailored in a way that enables participants to become economically self-sufficient.

DESI provides a variety of services to eligible youth, including General Equivalency Diploma (GED), secondary accredited high school diploma, preparation training, occupational skills training, employability skills training, job placement assistance, assistance enrolling into a postsecondary institute, and assistance enrolling in an advanced training program. Our program is designed to allow participants to select the services that best suit their individual needs.
